Brazos Valley Art Education Association

The Brazos Valley Art Educators Association is an organization devoted to
raising the standard of art and art education throughout the community. Art
teachers from the Brazos Valley meet once a month to share lesson plans and
instructional ideas.

With that in mind, we elected to develop a website so that we could share some
of these ideas with fellow art teachers and lovers of art. We invite you to browse
the gallery and sample lesson plans.

These ladies, along with the help of BVAEA members and various
students across the Brazos Valley, created a glass fused piece of
art to celebrate Youth Art Month. The YAM pieces were done by
BVAEA members, and each of the small square pieces on the
outside frame were done by students across the Brazos Valley. A
big thanks goes out to these four ladies for putting in numerous
extra hours to fire, assemble, and get the piece ready to display!
